I am offering for sale a truly stylish and charming little quirky bug, a gem of renowned German car manufacturing. Its design faithfully pays homage to its legendary predecessor. Manufactured in 1999, but age hasn’t caught up with it – it’s still desirable.
At its heart lies the indestructible 90-horsepower 1.9 TD engine, still powered by a mechanical fuel pump, which means it can even run on cooking oil. During its preparation for long adventures, it received new springs, skid plate shield, as well as new cooling and air-conditioning radiators. By the time of sale, the odometer will likely show only 250,000 km.
The asking price is €4,900 or $5,150, which is much less than it cost to get here (~€10,000). Included in this price are a roof rack and two full-size spare wheels. For buyers who don’t negotiate, I’ll throw in a tent, a large inflatable mattress, two camping chairs, a small travel fridge, and a portable gas stove – so you’ll be ready to hit the road right away.
