Carcarbaba, a Chinese-owned car-dealing company, commenced production in Kigali on Wednesday, January 26.

Carcarbaba would promote two top Chinese companies, WULING and DONGFENG, which are known as "China Magic Vehicles" and are the leading brand in automobile manufacturing and marketing in China. The auto dealership company was founded in Rwanda in 2021 with the goal of establishing specialized car sales and servicing networks across Africa, providing a diverse selection of manufacturers.

Establishing roots in Rwanda, Nick Duan, MD of Carcarbaba Rwanda, intends to share Chinese high-standard automobiles with Rwandan customers and Africans in general.

Unlike other auto manufacturers, Carcarbaba is exceptional in that it provides sufficient replacement parts including after-sale assistance once the vehicles are delivered. The startup, according to the Sales Manager of Carcarbaba Rwanda, Ernest Bugingo, will take into account Rwandans' buying power and budget.

As per Fidele Mutaganira, the Company Liaison Specialist at Rwanda Polytechnic who represented IPRC Kigali at the premiere, Carcarbaba will collaborate with the renowned technical partners IPRC in Rwanda to negotiate automotive sector graduate assistantships as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) operation.
